Long colourful tourmaline earrings

These lovely, playful statement earrings were handmade by me in my studio

Brightly coloured natural turmaline slices were set in fine silver and mounted on textured sterling silver to create the individual elements of these dangly drop earrings. These stones are not calibrated, they have different sizes and shapes and some surface irregularities. Instead of just lining them up, I took advantage of these natural "imperfections" and assembled them in a way that suggests movement and rhythm - who doesn't need a pair of earrings with dancing stones :-)?
