large larvikite statement ring, size 6.5

This unique, big and bold larvikite statement ring was entirely handmade by me in my studio. The substantial stone rightfully claims center stage. It displays a color play of dark blue and black with bright blue-grey flashes speckled in between. The setting was created from individually textured sterling silver elements, assembled to create an organic patchwork look. The fine silver bezel was textured and adds a pretty sparkle to this statement piece. To give this ring a secure and stable fit I created a substantial double band, each part is textured with a different pattern to match the style. This ring is signed with my maker’s mark and was oxidized to enhance the contrast of the textured surfaces.
