This one of a kind Quartz ring was handmade by me in my studio.
A slim, tumbled quartz specimen with copper inclusions is the focal element of this piece. It was set in fine silver and is surrounded by organically shaped sterling silver “sticks”. A variation on the “pile of sticks” idea is repeated on the substantial sterling silver band which anchors the ring and gives it a comfortable and balanced feel when worn.
This design evolved around the stone, the process was very organic without much of a plan, the result is an unusual and interesting piece of art jewellery.
