Tourmaline dangly post earrings

These earring were handmade by me in my studio.

I chose six roughly cut and tumbled tourmaline nuggets, five of them green, one pink, to create these end of summer earrings. They represent the days in between seasons, when the foliage is still green and there are still blossoms to bloom, but the light is different and the air smells of change, of an end and of a new beginning.

Each stone is set individually in fine silver and sits on a textured backplate. Linked together they form a lovely set of dangly drop earrings, fastened with fine silver posts and friction ear nuts.
